About this scholarship
What you got
These were fully-funded three-year PhD scholarships at Bangor University in Wales. There were two tiers. The full scholarship covered all tuition fees, included an annual living allowance and provided an annual research budget for travel, conferences and archival research. The lower level, referred to as a ‘bursary’, covered only the annual living allowance, with no tuition fees and no research budget. Bangor established these scholarships in 2009 to mark its 125th anniversary, with the aim of expanding its postgraduate research community.
