Santander & University of Birmingham Scholarship

You will receive 5,850 EUR (about £5,000) as a grant towards your tuition fees for a one-year Master’s degree programme at the University of Birmingham in the UK. This is a one-off payment for a single academic year and will not be renewed. The funding is provided through a partnership between the University of Birmingham and Santander Bank.

Who can apply

• Degree: You are starting a one-year Master’s programme at the University of Birmingham.
• Nationality: You are from one of the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, the United States or Venezuela.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• Grades: You’re one of the top Master’s applicants, so good grades are important.
• Bonus: If you graduated from one of Santander’s partner universities, you will be given priority.

Please apply by 30 April via the University of Birmingham’s International Office.

How realistic are your chances?

As only Master’s students from the specified list of countries are eligible to apply, the pool of applicants for this award is small. If you clearly meet these criteria – particularly if you have obtained your degree from a Santander partner university – your chances are good. Apply early and demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, as only a small number of students receive this funding.
