About this scholarship
General Description
The Department of Italian offers a studentship funded by AHRC under the project ‘Trans nationalizing Modern Languages: Mobility, Identity and Translation in Modern Italian Cultures’. This studentship covers UK/home tuition fees as well as stipend. They last 3 years. This serves to enable research which will examine the construction of the public profiles of figures identified with the British Italian community who have achieved success in the UK in the fields of hospitality, popular culture and/pr entertainment.
Requirements
Applicants should be holders of a valid and relevant first degree (at least 2:1 or equivalent). The student should also have a relevant Masters degree, or be close to achieving one.
