About this scholarship
General Description
The ÖGB (Federation of Austrian Trade Unions) offers the Johann Böhm Fonds-Grant for students working in a Diplom or PhD thesis. Funding will be provided for a maximum of 12 months (6 months for Diplom students; a 6-month extension may be granted in exceptional cases); the total amount of financing awarded should not exceed 5000 euro.Requirements
The purpose of these grants is to support students writing Diplom and doctoral theses on a range of topics previously announced by the ÖGB. Candidates are required to demonstrate that they are undergoing a situation of financial need. Applicants must be members of a trade union.Similar scholarships
