What the prize offered

The winners received a one-off 600 EUR. It was awarded to a Bachelor’s student of Art at the Ruskin School of Art, part of the University of Oxford, whose work stood out for its creativity and original ideas. The prize was established in 2006 in memory of a lecturer who had taught at the Ruskin for 21 years, and is sponsored by his family every year.

Who could apply

• Level of study: You completed a bachelor’s degree at the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford.
• Type of work: Any medium, such as painting, sculpture, film or installation.
• Nationality: People of any nationality were able to take part.
• What was judged: Your contribution demonstrated creative and original thinking.

This prize is no longer being awarded. It was offered by 2006 until 2022, so you can no longer apply.
