About this award / prize
Berenice Goodwin Prize
For outstanding achievements in the performing arts, you will receive a one-off cash prize of about 585 EUR (£500). This is a one-off payment, not a monthly allowance. The Slade School of Fine Art, the art school of University College London (UCL) in London, awards the prize each year to a final-year student.
Who can apply
- Where you study: You’re studying Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL.
- Level: You are a student on an undergraduate degree programme (BA/BFA) or a postgraduate degree programme (MA/MFA).
- Timing: You are in your final year and are about to complete your degree.
- What is judged: You did a brilliant job in the performance.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
How realistic are your chances?
You cannot apply yourself. Staff at the Slade select a graduate, so there is no application form and no deadline you need to meet. The pool of eligible candidates is small: only Slade Fine Art students who complete their degree with outstanding results are considered. Ultimately, it depends on how your final project is assessed.
