About this scholarship
General Description
The Equity and Merit Scholarships for international Master’s students are intended to assist talented but economically disadvantaged students from poor countries. The scholarships are currently available for students from Bangladesh, Rwanda and Uganda. The scholarships are jointly funded by the University and its alumni. Beneficiaries will receive a fee waiver, living costs allowance and return flights to the UK. Two types of scholarship are available: full-time campus-based postgraduate taught masters and masters by distance learning.Requirements
The scholarships are open to graduate students of academic merit wishing to pursue a Masters degree at the University of Manchester either on a full-time campus-based postgraduate taught masters and masters by distance learning. The scholarships are currently only open to students from Bangladesh, Rwanda and Uganda.Similar scholarships
