High Street banks besides Barclays Bank and the Co-operative Bank may offer loans for professional studies outside of the Professional and Career Development Loans (PCDL) scheme. The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) will not cover interest payments for these loans although the banks may offer interest concessions or deferred interest to students.
