About this scholarship

Ayudas al estudio of the Universitat de València

The University of Valencia pays your tuition fees for the 2025-2026 academic year. These are the fees you owe for enrolling in the credits of your degree or master. For a bachelor's degree (grado) or double degree, the aid covers first and second enrolment credits up to the university's maximum limits. For a master that qualifies you for a regulated profession, it covers first and second enrolment credits. For other masters, it covers only first-enrolment credits, up to a set price per credit. Administrative fees are not included. The university has set aside 300,000 EUR in total: 180,000 EUR for bachelor students and 120,000 EUR for master students.

Who can apply

  • University: You are enrolled in an official bachelor or master programme at one of the University of Valencia's own centres in 2025-2026.
  • Study load: Bachelor students take at least 36 ECTS full time or 24 ECTS part time. Master students take at least 30 ECTS.
  • Grades: From your second year you must have passed a minimum share of your credits (50% to 70%, depending on the subject area). New master students need an entry average of at least 6.0, or 5.0 for professional-qualifying masters.
  • Financial need: Your family income must stay under set limits, from 22,602 EUR for a one-person household up to 71,790 EUR for eight people. Extra allowances apply for large families, disability or being an orphan. Your family's property and capital income must also stay under set caps.
  • Residence: You are registered (empadronado) in a municipality of the Comunitat Valenciana.
  • Nationality: You are Spanish, an EU citizen, or a non-EU national with a residence permit. A tourist visa does not count.
  • No overlapping aid: You have not received a scholarship from the Ministry or the Generalitat Valenciana for this year, and you do not already hold an equal or higher degree. Doctoral students and students at affiliated centres cannot apply.

How to apply

You apply fully online through the University of Valencia's electronic office at entreu.uv.es, in the student applications section. The deadline is one month after the call was published in the official regional gazette on 9 April 2026, so applications close around 9 May 2026. A university selection committee ranks applicants and awards the aid competitively.

How realistic are your chances?

This aid is aimed at Valencia students who miss out on the main state and regional scholarships, using wider income limits. So the pool is narrower than for those national awards. If you clearly meet the income, residence and grade conditions and apply on time, your prospects are reasonable. Places are ranked competitively against a fixed 300,000 EUR budget, so a well-documented case of financial need matters most.
