Delft University of Technology - Ena Voute Design Engineering Excellence Scholarship

Benefit

You get your full tuition fees paid for a 2-year MSc programme at TU Delft, worth about 50,000 EUR over the two years. The amount matches your programme's fee, so your tuition is fully covered for both years. TU Delft's Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering (IDE) gives one award each year. It is named after Ena Voûte, the faculty's former dean, and aims to help a talented international student who could not otherwise afford to study design in Delft.

Eligibility

• Programme: You are applying for a 2-year MSc in one of IDE's three programmes: Design for Interaction, Strategic Product Design, or Integrated Product Design.
• Admission: You have a conditional or full admission offer for one of these programmes.
• Nationality: You come from outside the EU/EFTA.
• Grades: You scored at least 80% of the grading scale in your bachelor's degree, earned at a university outside the Netherlands.
• English: You hold an English language certificate.

How to apply

First submit a complete MSc application to TU Delft. Then upload the scholarship application form, two reference letters and your English certificate before the scholarship deadline. Apply on time, because a late application will not be reviewed.

How realistic are your chances?

Only one award is given each year for the three design master's programmes, so competition is real and reserved for strong candidates. The conditions are narrow (a non-EU applicant admitted to a specific IDE MSc with an 80%+ bachelor average), so the pool is smaller than for TU Delft's open scholarships. If you clearly meet these conditions, apply early and present strong references, your prospects are decent, but nothing is guaranteed.
