Business School EU Regional Scholarship

You get a one-off award of either £5,000 (about 5,900 EUR) or, for a small number of scholarships, £10,000 (about 11,800 EUR), paid straight towards your tuition fees. The University of Edinburgh Business School gives out several of the £5,000 awards and a few of the larger £10,000 ones. It rewards strong results (merit-based) for a taught Master's starting in September 2026.

Who can apply

• Offer in hand: You already hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for one of the eligible Master's programmes and have accepted it or plan to. You cannot apply before you have the offer.
• Where you live: You live in the EU.
• Programme: Your Master's is one of 13 eligible courses, including Accounting and Financial Management, AI for Business, Business Analytics, Finance and Investment, Management, Marketing and Human Resource Management.
• Grades: You have strong academic results.
• Extra strengths: You can show good professional and personal skills through work experience or activities outside your studies.
• No double funding: Your fees are not fully covered by an employer, you do not already hold a full scholarship, and you have not accepted another University of Edinburgh scholarship.

How to apply

You apply online once you hold an offer. You can apply only once per admissions cycle. For the September 2026 intake there are two rounds. Round A closes on 27 April 2026, with a decision by 16 June 2026. Round B closes on 8 June 2026, with a decision by 14 July 2026.

How realistic are your chances?

The scholarship is limited to EU applicants who already hold an offer for one of these specific Master's programmes, so the pool is smaller than for an open scholarship. The larger £10,000 awards are scarce, but several £5,000 awards are given out. Selection rests on grades plus work or extracurricular experience. If you fit clearly and apply in the earlier round, your prospects are reasonable.
