About this scholarship

What you get

You get a £5,000 scholarship (about 5,800 EUR) towards your tuition fees for a one-year taught master's degree at the School of Engineering, University of Warwick. The School awards up to 20 of these each year to students starting in autumn 2026. The money is taken straight off your tuition fees. It is not paid in cash and cannot go towards rent or living costs.

Who can apply

  • Degree level: You are starting a taught master's (MSc) at Warwick's School of Engineering in autumn 2026.
  • Subject: Your course is one of the School's eligible MSc programmes. These cover mechanical, biomedical, electrical, power, communications and humanitarian engineering, diagnostics and digital health, and predictive modelling.
  • Offer in hand: You hold a conditional or unconditional place on one of these courses by 30 April 2026. If your offer is conditional, you still need to meet your predicted final grade.
  • Nationality: Open to both UK and international students.
  • Grades: You have strong final or predicted degree marks, because the award is decided on academic merit.
  • No double funding: If you are a UK student who gets a University of Warwick Taught Master's Scholarship, you cannot also take this one.

How to apply

There is no separate application. If you hold an offer for an eligible course by 30 April 2026, you are considered automatically, based on your application and grades. The first offers go out in May 2026.

How realistic are your chances?

With up to 20 awards and no extra form to fill in, everyone holding a place on an eligible course is in the running by default, so the field is wide. Selection rests purely on grades, so applicants with the best final or predicted marks stand out. Securing your offer well before the 30 April deadline keeps you in consideration.
