General Description

`The ExxonMobile scholarships are merit-based and need-based four-year scholarships. They can be used at any institution in the US and Canada, and are open to children of (ex-)employees of ExxonMobile and/or its affiliates. The amount is decided on a case-by-case basis, but can be up to 10,000 US Dollar per year for 4 years.

Requirements

The student applying must be a child of a parent who has been working with ExxonMobile for at least 3 years, who is a retired MobileExxon employee, who died a MobileExxon employee or who isn't working with ExxonMobile anymore, but has worked there for at least ten years. This also applies to employees of subsidiaries owned for 50% or more than ExxonMobile. The applicant would normally be a high school senior, but applications may be made later if the parent hasn't reached the required three years of service when the child starts their education. This scholarship may only be used to cover baccalaureate degrees.
