IADE Merit Award

You get a discount of up to 40% on your base tuition fee at IADE - Creative University in Lisbon, Portugal, if you start your studies with strong grades. The discount applies to the standard yearly tuition, so the better your results, the less you pay. For executive training courses it can reach 50%. The award is given by IADE - Creative University, part of the Europa Education Group. You keep it in later years as long as you hold the required grade average. For bachelor's and master's students, once you lose the discount you cannot get it back.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You enrol at IADE – Creative University in Lisbon on a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Executive programme.
• New student: You are applying for the first time. Applicants for a Bachelor’s degree programme apply via the institutional selection process (Concurso Institucional); applicants for a Master’s degree programme apply via the standard admission route or as international students. Executive courses are open to both new and former students.
• Grades (bachelor's): You have a weighted average of 15.5 or more out of a total of 20. Your secondary school leaving certificate is counted as 50% and each of your two entrance examinations as 25%.
• Grades (master's): Your final mark in your Bachelor’s degree must be at least 15.5 or, if your degree was awarded by a foreign university, at least 16.5.
• Grades (executive): You have obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a grade point average of 15.5 or higher. Graduates of the Universidade Europeia, IADE or IPAM are entitled to a discount of 50%; students from other universities are entitled to a discount of 40%.
• Nationality: Open to Portuguese and international students. For executive programmes, your degree must have been awarded by a higher education institution in the EU.
• Field of study: Open to all subjects taught at IADE.
• Course format: Available for online and in-person courses; executive training can also be blended. It does not apply to fully self-paced (100% asynchronous) courses.

Applications are made via the IADE admissions team – depending on whether your course is face-to-face or online – by telephone, WhatsApp or email. The number of places on each course is limited, so please apply early.
