D. Ana Caetano Prize

You will receive a one-off bonus of 750 EUR if you complete your degree at University of Évora with top marks. The Salvador Caetano Foundation awards this prize once a year in conjunction with the University of Évora. The Foundation is a charitable organisation established in 1981 by companies within the Salvador Caetano Group.

Who can apply

• University: You are studying at the University of Évora in Portugal.
• Grades: Your annual average mark is above 14 points on the Portuguese 0–20 scale.
• Final result: You complete your degree with a grade of ‘Muito Bom’ (very good).
• Field of study: Any subject can apply.

How to apply

Please apply directly to the Salvador Caetano Foundation by 31 May. Please enclose proof of your final degree average (to two decimal places) and proof of identity. The prize will be awarded to the applicant with the highest final degree average. In the event of a tie, the younger candidate will be selected, and the prize money may be shared.

How realistic are your chances?

Only graduates of the University of Évora who have completed their degree with a grade of ‘Very Good’ and an average mark of over 14 points are eligible to apply, meaning that very few people meet the criteria. As only one prize is awarded each year, competition amongst the top graduates is fierce. If you clearly meet the academic requirements, it is worth applying.
