ISG Merit Awards

You will receive a merit scholarship (an award for outstanding achievement), which will reduce your tuition fees for one academic year. This award is aimed at students at the ISG – Instituto Superior de Gestão, a university specialising in business administration and economics in Lisbon, Portugal. Every year, the ISG awards a prize to the student with the highest average mark in each Bachelor’s degree programme (Licenciatura). The exact amount of the reduction is determined anew each year. As a guide: the winners of the 2023/2024 achieved average marks of 16.64 and 19.00 of 20.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are enrolled on a bachelor’s degree programme (Licenciatura) at the ISG in Lisbon.
• Grades: You have the highest average mark in your degree programme this year. Only the top student in each degree programme wins.
• Field of study: All ISG degree programmes are recognised, including Management, Economics, Human Resources, Marketing and Tourism.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

You do not need to submit an application. The award is based solely on your academic performance, so there is no application window. The ISG identifies the top students on each degree programme based on their annual marks. The process is handled by the ISG’s Social Services Department (Servico de Acao Social).
