Beja Municipality - Higher Education Scholarship for students living in Beja

General Description

The municipality of Beja is giving scholarships to help low-income students. This scholarship is intended to encourage further study of students from families of lower economic resources. The grant awards are in the nature of a cash premium. The purpose is to support students attending higher education. The scholarships will be equivalent to a third of the minimum monthly wage (RMMG) value. The awarded scholarship lasts for one academic year. Payment is monthly divided during the school year.

Requirements

May require the granting of scholarships that students possess Portuguese nationality or are authorized to reside in Portugal. The interested candidate must be resident for more than three years in the municipality of Beja. It must have a monthly per capita income of less than the value of the minimum wage multiplied by 1.2.
