About this scholarship
General Description
The Heinrich Böll Foundation is politically affiliated with the party "Bündnis 90/Die Grünen". It is one of the twelve nation-wide support programmes for talented students. The programme supports German students, educational residents (pursuant to §8 of BaföG) and foreign students. The amount of funding is a maximum of 597 EUR per month (calculated according to BaföG). In addition, fellows receive 300 EUR money for books per month regardless of parental income. The scholarship can be received up to until reaching the maximum funding term according to BaföG.
Requirements
The application is open to German students, educational residents and foreign students of all disciplines. German students and educational residents can apply any time during the study. The applicants should have still at least four semesters of remaining studies. An application just before graduation is not an option. Foreign students can apply solely to the promotion of a Master's programme. The Heinrich Böll Foundation requires excellent school and academic performance. In addition, community involvement and political interest according to the fundamental ideas of the Heinrich-Böll-Foundation are necessary.
