About this scholarship

What you get

You get a discount of up to £4,000 (about 4,600 EUR) off your tuition fees in your first year of a postgraduate course at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) in England. The exact amount depends on your qualifications, so stronger grades can mean a larger discount. This is a partial award, not full funding. It comes off your fees directly and is not paid to you. ARU has campuses in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Peterborough and Writtle.

Who can apply

  • Level: You are starting a postgraduate course, such as a Master's or MBA, at ARU.
  • Where you study: You study at ARU in England.
  • Nationality: Any international student can apply. UK-home students do not qualify.
  • Field of study: All subjects qualify.
  • One of these must apply: you are taking an MBA, OR you already hold a degree from ARU, OR you exceed the minimum entry requirements of your course.
  • No outside funding: You may not qualify if an employer, charity or government body sponsors you, or if you receive federal tuition fee loans.

How to apply

There is no separate application. You get the discount automatically once you meet the criteria and complete your registration at ARU. You cannot combine it with other ARU scholarships. If you qualify for more than one, you receive the highest single award.

How realistic are your chances?

The award is automatic, not competitive, so there is no panel to convince. If you are an international postgraduate student who meets the criteria, you get it. What varies is the size of the discount. Strong grades and clearly beating the course entry requirements push you towards the top of the £4,000 range.
