Discover Dundee Bursary

Benefit

You get 2,000 GBP (about 2,300 EUR) in your first year of study at the University of Dundee in Scotland. The money is paid in two instalments, usually at the end of November 2026 and the end of February 2027. This is a one-off payment for your first year only. You can hold it alongside other Dundee awards, such as the RUK Bursary and the Academic Excellence Bursary.

Eligibility

• Where you study: You take a full-time bachelor's degree at the University of Dundee, taught on campus.
• Fee status: Dundee classes you as an RUK (Rest of UK) fee-paying student. This covers students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
• Subject: Any subject except Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing & Health Sciences, and Education & Social Work.
• Start date: You start in September 2026. January starts do not count, and you cannot move the bursary to a later year.

How to apply

There is no separate application. Dundee checks your eligibility automatically when you apply for your course, and confirms it in writing, often in your offer letter. The deadline is Friday 28 August 2026 at 23:59 UK time.

How realistic are your chances?

You do not compete against others for this award. If you have RUK fee status, take a full-time on-campus bachelor's degree and study an eligible subject, you qualify automatically. Your real task is simply securing your place at Dundee for the September 2026 intake.
