Grenoble Institute of Technology - International Excellence Scholarship

What you get

You will receive 5,000 EUR per academic semester for an engineering degree at Grenoble INP – UGA (Université Grenoble Alpes) in France. The grant will be paid out for each semester of your engineering degree, with the exception of the semester in which you write your final dissertation. It is funded by donations from alumni, parents, staff and partner companies of Grenoble INP.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are enrolling for the first time on an engineering degree programme at one of the faculties of Grenoble INP – UGA.
• Field of study: Engineering.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply. You are an international student.
• Age: When applying, you are subject to 28.
• Grades: You have achieved outstanding results at your home university.
• Fees paid: You have already paid your tuition fees for the current academic year.

How to apply

You do not apply for the scholarship directly. You apply for an engineering degree programme via the Grenoble INP online platform. The university then selects the best applications and forwards them to the INP Foundation. The programme committee makes the final decision, and the selected students are notified by email.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is aimed at a small target group: new international engineering students at Grenoble INP on the 28 programme with outstanding grades. As a result, the pool of eligible candidates is small. Since the university nominates you and you do not apply yourself, your chances depend on your academic record and your suitability for the programme. A clearly outstanding candidate who is a good fit for the programme has a strong chance of success.
