About this scholarship

Benefit

You get a full-ride scholarship: it covers 100% of your tuition fees at IE University in Madrid, plus other study costs, living expenses and accommodation. The funding runs for the whole length of your bachelor's degree. The money comes from donations by parents and former students of IE University, who pay for a few exceptional students to study each year.

Eligibility

  • Degree: You are starting a bachelor's programme at IE University.
  • Field of study: Any undergraduate programme at IE University counts.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
  • Grades: You have excellent academic results.
  • Your story: You can show strong personal achievement, high motivation and a clear plan for your future.
  • Financial need: You need financial help to afford your studies. Your parents' income and tax documents are checked.

How to apply

Apply through IE's online financial aid application once you have been admitted. You may also need to add a scholarship essay in the "Additional Documentation" section. This scholarship has an earlier deadline than most IE aid, so apply well before your first year begins. The committee usually replies within one to three weeks.

How realistic are your chances?

IE calls this one of its most competitive scholarships, and only a few students receive it each year. Strong grades alone will not decide it. The committee wants a standout personal story and clear financial need, backed by your parents' income documents. Funds are handed out on a rolling basis, so if you fit that profile and apply early, you give yourself the best shot.
