About this scholarship
What you get
You will receive financial support for an MBA or management degree at the IME Business School in Salamanca, Spain, a higher education institution affiliated with the University of Salamanca. There are two options. The Guarantee Scholarship (Beca de Garantía), funded by the Fundación Pro IME, covers 25% to 100% of your tuition fee, depending on your career potential. With the Contract Scholarship (Beca-Contrato), a partner company covers up to 100% of your tuition. In return, you will undertake up to 900 hours of paid work placement with this company, the timetable for which will be coordinated with your lectures. Both schemes apply to the same degree programmes, which are offered as on-campus courses in Salamanca and run until June 2027.
Who can apply
- Degree: You hold a university degree or are only a few credit points short of completing your degree. IME assesses these cases on a case-by-case basis.
- Field of study: Any subject area. You do not need any prior knowledge of business administration.
- Programme: You would like to enrol on one of the IME’s degree programmes, such as the MBA, the Global MBA, the Executive MBA, the PIGE or the PEGE.
- Language: Most degree programmes are taught in Spanish. For the Global MBA, which is taught in English, you will need English language skills at least at level B2.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
- Profile: To be eligible for the guaranteed scholarship, you must demonstrate high professional potential. To be eligible for the contract-based scholarship, you must be selected by a partner company following interviews.
How to apply
To apply for the Guaranteed Scholarship, please email your CV to the IME selection team with the subject line ‘Candidatura a Beca de Garantía’. The first round of applications, 2026/2027, runs until 31. July 2026. For the contract-based scholarship, please view the internship vacancies on the IME job board and submit your CV. In both cases, the IME will conduct a short online interview prior to making a decision in order to assess your profile.
How realistic are your chances?
Both scholarships are linked to studying at a specific university in Salamanca and are awarded following an interview, meaning that the pool of applicants is limited to those who are genuinely interested in an IME programme. The ‘Guarantee’ scholarship rewards a compelling career profile and can at least secure you partial funding, rather than none at all. The contract-based scholarship depends on whether a company chooses to sponsor you. If you are a good fit for a programme and can demonstrate clear career potential, your prospects are good. It is advantageous to apply early within the application window.
