What you get

You will receive a one-off scholarship of £2,000 (about 2,300 EUR) for a postgraduate law programme at any university worldwide. Five scholarships are awarded each year. The money will be paid directly to your university to cover your tuition fees. If your tuition fees are already fully covered, you will instead receive the amount as a contribution towards your living costs. You may combine this scholarship with other scholarships. The scholarship is awarded by Postgrad Solutions Ltd., the operator of the LLMstudy.com platform.

Who can apply

• Course: You are undertaking a postgraduate law programme, such as an LLM, LPC, GDL or another postgraduate law programme.
• Where you study: Any recognised law school worldwide. Full-time, part-time, online, distance learning or blended study all count.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Age: You must be at least 18 years old. There is no upper age limit.
• Place accepted: You have already accepted an offer of a place on your degree programme.
• What decides it: Scholarship recipients are selected solely on the basis of a statement of no more than 200 words explaining why you deserve the scholarship. You may cite financial hardship, academic achievement or both as grounds for your application. You do not need to provide proof of your income.
• Registration: You will need a free account with Postgrad Solutions Student Service.

How to apply

Register for free on llmstudy.com and complete the online form with your personal details and information about your degree programme. Then write your statement using 200 words. Anything exceeding 200 words will be ignored. The deadline is 30 September 2026, and the winners will be notified by 31 October 2026. If you win, you will take part in a short telephone and video interview to confirm your details.

How realistic are your chances?

Only five scholarships are awarded each year, and the call for applications is open to law students of any nationality, regardless of where they are studying. The field of applicants is broad and competition is fierce. As the decision is based solely on your 200-word statement, a concise, specific explanation of why you deserve the scholarship counts for more than your grades or the university you have chosen. Put a great deal of effort into this text.
