About this scholarship
Danish-Israeli Study Foundation scholarship (Nachemsohn)
You will receive a grant to help fund your studies abroad. This grant is aimed at Danish students studying in Israel and Israeli students studying in Denmark. The amount of the grant varies each year and is not fixed in advance. In your application, you should state the amount required in Danish kroner and provide evidence of this in the form of a detailed financial plan. The foundation was established in accordance with the will of the antiquities dealer David B. Nachemsohn in memory of his parents, Josef and Regine.
Who can apply
- Who you are: You are a Danish student who would like to study in Israel, or an Israeli student who would like to study in Denmark.
- Level of study: Applicants at all levels of qualification are welcome to apply. This includes students who have not yet graduated, Bachelor’s or Master’s graduates, PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and applicants with a professional background.
- Field of study: All subjects are open.
- Where you study: You have a confirmed place at a university or other higher education institution in the host country.
- Residence: You do not yet have your permanent residence in the host country. Danish students with permanent residence in Israel are not eligible to apply; the same applies to Israeli students with permanent residence in Denmark.
