OPTIMUS EXECUTIVE Program

You get a study grant of at least 800 EUR gross per month for 12 months, plus your social security contributions on top. This is a full-time paid traineeship at a company in Spain, combined with academic training. You attend 96 hours of in-person skills courses at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid (eight Fridays and eight Saturdays) and 75 hours of online training in digital and management topics. You finish with two credentials: a postgraduate certificate (Título Propio) from the university in personal, professional and digital skills, and a certificate from the company where you trained. The programme is run by the Fundación Universidad-Empresa (FUE) with the university.

Who can apply

• Degree: You hold an official or recognised university degree (for example a Graduado, Licenciado, Ingeniero or Arquitecto).
• Field of study: Any subject, as long as it fits the traineeship you apply for.
• How recent your degree is: You finished your degree no more than 4 years ago.
• Age: You are 30 or younger.
• Work experience: You have not yet done relevant paid work in your field since graduating.
• No repeat funding: You have not already been funded by this or a similar traineeship programme.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply. The placement is in Spain.

You can apply all year, with no fixed deadline. Apply through the talentoteca.es platform, where partner companies post their traineeship offers, and apply to the ones that match your profile.

How realistic are your chances?

Your prospects depend less on a jury and more on whether a partner company has an open position that fits your degree and picks you. Because it targets recent graduates under 30 with little work experience, the eligible group is fairly specific, but you still compete with other applicants for each company's slots. Apply to positions that clearly match your studies, and apply early, since places are filled as they come.
