About this scholarship
What you get
You will receive a scholarship to study for a Bachelor’s degree (Grado) at the University of Granada in Spain. It consists of three parts:
- A sum of 2,000 EUR housing grant, which will be paid into your account in the second semester as soon as you have met the requirements.
- Exemption from tuition fees for the compulsory modules of your first enrolment.
- A daily meal voucher for the university’s canteens throughout the academic year.
Every year, the University of Granada runs a scholarship programme for Moroccan students. For 2026/2027, there are 14 new scholarships available, in addition to renewals for up to 25 students who are already studying there.
Who can apply
- Nationality: You are a Moroccan student.
- Where you studied before: You completed your ‘Bachillerato’ (A-levels) at a Spanish school in Morocco, specifically in Tetouan, Al Hoceima, Tangier, Nador, Casablanca, Rabat or Larache.
- Where you study: You are starting a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Granada. If you are already receiving a scholarship, you can also apply to have it extended.
- Admission: To be admitted to the university, you will need to go through the standard Andalusian admission procedure (pre-enrolment).
- Enrolment: You enrol for the full number of credits for an academic year.
- Field of study: Any topic is fine.
How to apply
New applicants should submit their applications to the administration office of their Spanish language school in Morocco, not directly to the university. The application deadline for 2026/2027 is 10 July 2026. The scholarships are awarded through a selection process, i.e. applicants are assessed against one another.
How realistic are your chances?
This scholarship is very strictly defined. You must be a Moroccan national, have completed your secondary education at a Spanish school in one of the seven cities listed, and enrol at the University of Granada. The pool of eligible applicants is therefore small. With 14 new scholarships available each year and a limited number of suitable students, anyone who clearly meets these criteria and has very good school grades stands a good chance. Apply in good time and ensure that your admission to Granada is in order.
