Kościuszko Foundation - Polish American Club of North Jersey

Benefit

You will receive a one-year scholarship to cover your tuition fees at an accredited college or university in the United States for full-time undergraduate study. The amount varies depending on the applicant and is approximately 1,428 EUR. You may renew the scholarship, but you must reapply each year. The funds are provided by the Polish American Club of North Jersey (PACNJ). The Kosciuszko Foundation awards the scholarship on its behalf.

Eligibility

• Citizenship: You are a US citizen or hold a permanent residence permit (Green Card).
• Heritage: You are of Polish descent.
• Club membership: You have been an active member of the Polish American Club of North Jersey for at least 2 years. Children and grandchildren of members are also eligible to participate.
• Study level: You are enrolled on a full-time Bachelor’s degree programme and are in your first, second or third year of study at the time of your application.
• Where you study: Your college or university is located in the United States and is accredited.
• Field of study: Any topic is fine.
• Grades: Your average mark is 3.0 or higher.
• Limit: You can get at most 2 Kosciuszko Foundation tuition scholarships in total during your studies. Only one person per immediate family can hold a PACNJ scholarship in the same year.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the Kosciuszko Foundation’s ‘Reviewr’ online portal. An application will automatically be considered for every scholarship for which you meet the eligibility criteria. There is a non-refundable application fee of 40 USD (approx. 37 EUR). For the year 2027–2028, the application deadline is 1 February 2027 at 23:59 EST. Letters of recommendation must be submitted by 15 February 2027, and decisions will be announced by 16 June.
