What you get

You will receive a one-off scholarship of approximately 5,160 EUR to fund one year of your music studies at the London College of Music. This college is part of the University of West London (UWL). The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate good academic achievement but require financial support to continue their studies.

• University: You are studying at the London College of Music, which is part of the University of West London in the UK.
• Field of study: You’re attending a music class.
• Study year: You are in your 2 academic year (level 5) or your 3 academic year (level 6) of your degree programme.
• Fee status: You pay the tuition fees applicable to UK students, rather than the higher rate for international students.
• Grades: You’re doing well at school.
• Financial need: You need financial support to fund your studies.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the London College of Music by 31 August. A selection panel will then choose the applicants who best meet the criteria.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is aimed at a small target group: music students in their second or third year of study who are achieving good results but have limited financial means. This keeps the pool of applicants small, meaning that a suitable candidate has a good chance of success. A clearly demonstrated financial need will set you apart from other applicants, as good grades alone are not enough.
