University of Bath - The Range Rover Evoque WISE Scholarship

Benefit

You get about 1,150 EUR per year (1,000 GBP) for three years, so roughly 3,450 EUR in total. You also get two mentors (experienced advisors who guide you): one engineer from Jaguar Land Rover and one from the WISE Campaign. You are offered a summer work placement at Jaguar Land Rover too. The award is a joint programme of Jaguar Land Rover and WISE (Women into Science and Engineering) to bring more young women into engineering in the UK.

Eligibility

• Gender: You are a woman.
• What you study: You are starting an engineering degree at a UK university, or starting an engineering apprenticeship. Two scholarships are given each year, ideally one to a student and one to an apprentice.
• Field: Engineering or a related subject, such as physical sciences, mathematics, computer science or technology.
• Timing: You have finished your A-Levels or GCSEs, hold a confirmed university place or an agreed apprenticeship, and are just starting your course.
• Nationality: Any nationality, as long as you study in the UK.

Fill in an application form and email it to the WISE Campaign. The closing date is 1 August. The winner is announced at the WISE Awards Ceremony.
