What the SA Brain Scholarship gives you

You will receive a one-off grant of about 1,450 EUR (1,250 GBP) towards a Master’s degree in the fields of hospitality, tourism or event management at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. You will also gain an insight into SA Brain & Co., the Welsh brewery funding the grant – which could open doors for you to make professional contacts there. One Master’s student is selected as the winner each year.

Who can apply

• Degree level: You are studying on a Master’s degree programme (MSc) at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
• Field of study: You are enrolled on the Master’s degree programme in ‘Hospitality Management’, ‘Tourism Management’ or ‘Events Management’.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

The application period begins at the start of the academic year. The scholarship is awarded in November.

How realistic are your chances?

Only one student wins each year, so the competition is fierce. However, the pool of applicants is small: you must already be enrolled on one of three specific Master’s programmes at a specific university. If you belong to this small group, your chances are much better than they might seem at first glance.
