About this scholarship

Benefit

You will receive about EUR 9,200 (GBP 8,000) for a one-year full-time Master’s degree programme in the UK. The amount will be paid in two instalments: the larger portion upon enrolment and the remainder upon successful completion of your degree. Upon completion of your degree, you will also receive a Panasonic Trust silver medal or, if you graduate with honours, a gold medal. The scholarship is funded by the Panasonic Trust, a UK charity supported by Panasonic UK and administered by the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Eligibility

  • Nationality: You are a British citizen.
  • Degree: You already hold at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related subject.
  • Field of study: Your Master’s programme focuses on the fields of energy, sustainability, infrastructure, environmental engineering or water management.
  • Study mode: You study full-time.
  • Professional body: You are a member – regardless of your membership tier – of an engineering organisation accredited by the Engineering Council.
  • Work experience: You have some work experience. This includes a dual-track work-study placement or a gap year before starting your degree.
  • No double funding: You have not yet received an EPSRC scholarship or any other funding for the same degree programme.

How to apply

Please apply using the form on the Foundation’s website. The application period begins in mid-May and ends on 21 July. A selection panel will then decide who will receive a scholarship.
