Regional Scholarship (Overseas and Non-EU)

You will receive a one-off grant of 15,000 GBP (about 17,400 EUR) towards the international tuition fees for a Master’s degree programme at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. The grant is awarded by the Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies at the University of Warwick, which offers courses in the fields of cultural policy, media, creative entrepreneurship and cultural management. It reduces the fees you, as an international student, are required to pay. However, it does not cover either your full tuition fees or your living costs.

Who can apply

• Degree: You have been offered a place on one of the Centre’s on-campus Master’s programmes, such as ‘Creative and Media Enterprises’, ‘Cultural Management and Creative Leadership’ or ‘Global Media and Communication’.
• Nationality: You are from a country outside the EU and pay international (overseas) tuition fees.
• Grades and experience: You have an excellent academic record or extensive professional experience in this field.
• Fit: Here you can explain how you would contribute to the Centre’s postgraduate community and to teaching on your degree programme.

How to apply

First, secure a place on one of the Centre’s Master’s programmes. You will then be considered for the scholarship. The application deadline is 15 April.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is awarded on a highly selective basis. It is aimed exclusively at international students enrolled on one of the Centre’s Master’s programmes, meaning that fewer applicants are competing for this scholarship than for open scholarships. If you have already been admitted and can demonstrate good grades or relevant professional experience in the cultural or media sector, your chances are good. It is advisable to apply early, as soon as you have secured your place on the course.
