What you get

You get a one-off payment of about 5,900 EUR (GBP 5,000) towards a one-year Master's in economics. The money comes from the Economics Department at University College London (UCL). It is a single lump sum to help cover the cost of your MSc year, awarded on academic merit. There is no monthly rate.

Who can apply

• Degree: You are applying for the MSc in Economics or the MSc in Economic Policy at UCL.
• Grades: You need strong academic results, since the award is decided on merit.
• Nationality: Open to applicants of any nationality.
• Focus (preference): If you want to specialise in international economics or European economic-policy questions, that counts in your favour. It is a bonus, not a requirement.

There is no separate application. Everyone who applies to the department's MSc programmes is considered automatically. Only shortlisted applicants are contacted.
