About this scholarship

Benefit

You will receive a one-off reduction in your tuition fees for your first year of study at Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) in England. This amounts to approximately 1,750 EUR (£1,500) for a Bachelor’s degree programme or approximately 3,450 EUR (£3,000) for a Master’s degree programme. This simply reduces the amount you pay to the university. You will not receive any cash towards rent or living costs. If you continue your studies at BNU, you may be eligible for a further discount totalling up to approximately 3,450 EUR (£3,000) over the course of your studies. Payment is made in several instalments: £1,500 upon enrolment, £1,500 on progression to the 2 academic year and £2,000 on progression to the 3 academic year. To receive each payment, you must demonstrate a good attendance record and successfully complete each academic year.

Eligibility

  • Where you study: You have been offered a place by the BNU on a full-time on-campus degree programme starting in the academic year 2026/2027.
  • Level: You are studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Older students are also welcome to apply.
  • Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities may apply, provided they pay the tuition fees applicable to international students (outside the UK).
  • Field of study: All degree programmes are eligible, with the exception of the Master’s programme in Nursing Science.
  • Who pays: You pay your own fees and do not receive any financial support from anyone.
  • Fee level: Your course lasts at least one year and your tuition fees amount to at least £15,000.
  • No stacking: This funding cannot be combined with any other scholarship or grant from BNU. However, you may claim the international early-payer discount £500.

How to apply

There is no separate application form and no interview. If you apply to study your degree programme at BNU for the 2026/2027 academic year, you will automatically be assessed for scholarship eligibility. Every student who meets the requirements will receive the scholarship.

How realistic are your chances?

This is not a competition. Every eligible student will receive the grant without having to go through a selection process. If you have been admitted to BNU, are paying tuition fees for international students of at least £15,000, yourself, and are not enrolled on an MSc programme in the field of nursing, you will receive the grant. The only reason you might be excluded from the grant is if your tuition fees are below the threshold of £15,000.
