Performance Scholarship at Liverpool Hope University

You will receive £3,000 (about 3,450 EUR), spread over the standard duration of your Bachelor’s degree. This is a cash award from Liverpool Hope University, designed to recognise students with genuine talent in the fields of dance, theatre, music or sport. You do not need to repay the amount.

Who can apply

• Degree level: You are starting the first year of a Bachelor’s degree programme at Liverpool Hope University in 2026/27.
• New student: You’re only just starting out and haven’t even reached the halfway point of your degree yet.
• Your talent: You have particular talents in the fields of dance, theatre, music or sport, and can demonstrate this either through a portfolio of public performances or by providing evidence of your participation in national competitions.
• Field of study: Open to all subjects.
• Residence: You are a UK home student. This text does not contain any information on funding for international students.

How to apply

Please complete the application form for the merit-based scholarship on the university’s funding page and email it to the Student Finance Office. The application deadline is 23 October 2026.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is tied to a specific university and requires genuine, proven skills in a particular field, meaning the pool of applicants is smaller than for open scholarships. If you already perform in public or take part in national competitions and can provide clear evidence of this, your chances are good.
