General Description
In 1994 The Beckman Coulter-Labplan Prize was established by Beckman Instruments Ireland Ltd. It an award that is presented yearly at University College Cork. It is inteded for a Fourth Year Honors Microbiology student. To obtain the prize the student must have made the highest overall mark in the final year examination. The prize is valued at €317. It consists of a Travel Grant to cover a trip to a relevant Research Conference or cover a short study trip to a cognate laboratory.

The student must be attending University College Cork. The student must be a Fourth Year Honors Microbiology student. The student must obtain the highest overall mark in the final year examination.
