Université de Liège - Scholarships for non-European students enrolled in a Master or a Complementary Master at the University of Liège.

What you get

You will receive a monthly scholarship of 850 EUR to fund your studies at the University of Liège (ULiège) in Belgium. The funding is provided by the University of Liège itself. The funding covers the entire duration of your Master’s programme, which lasts one or two years depending on the course, or one year in the case of a specialised Master’s programme (Master de spécialisation, a one-year specialisation following a first Master’s degree).

Who can apply

• Degree level: You are starting a Master or a Complementary Master at the University of Liège.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• Nationality and residence: You are from an emerging or developing country outside the EU (in Asia, North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, North America or South America) and live outside the EU.
• Previous degree: You hold a Master’s degree from one of ULiège’s partner universities abroad, which you obtained within the last 3 years.
• No prior enrolment: You have not yet studied at ULiège, apart from on an Erasmus or exchange programme.
• Bonus: Your chances of success are improved if you can provide a letter of recommendation from a professor at ULiège. They are also improved if you are applying for an Erasmus Mundus Master’s programme coordinated by ULiège but have not been awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.

How to apply

Applications to the University of Liège must be submitted by 30 April.
