Norma og Frode Jacobsens Fond - Norma and Frode S. Jacobsen's Foundation Abroad

What you get

You will receive up to 25,000 DKK (about 3,350 EUR) for a study trip abroad. This is a one-off payment for a single trip, not a monthly grant. The funding comes from the ‘Norma og Frode Jacobsens Fond’ (Norma and Frode S. Jacobsen Foundation), a Danish foundation that supports Danish agriculture and the food industry, with a particular focus on the pigmeat sector. Your trip is intended to enable you to explore a topic related to agriculture and food in greater depth, such as animal welfare and ethics, the environment, consumer interests, nutrition and health.

Who can apply

• Who you are: You are a young researcher or a qualified student.
• Field of study: Your work connects to Danish agriculture and the food industry, especially pork production and related sectors such as slaughterhouses and processing businesses.
• Where you go: You are travelling abroad, outside Denmark.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• University: Every institution where you study or carry out research counts.

How to apply

Please complete the Foundation’s application form, enclose a signed declaration of consent and submit it by email together with your supporting documents. Applications are accepted in digital form only. There are two submission deadlines per year: 1 April and 1 October. Please note that the Foundation does not give reasons for rejections.
