This merit-based scholarship will reduce your tuition fees at IE University in Segovia, Spain. You will receive it automatically upon admission, without having to submit a separate application for financial support. The amount of the scholarship is not fixed. It depends on the quality of your academic performance and your admission results. For the strongest academic profiles, it can cover up to 100% of the tuition fees. IE University has already awarded over 50 million euros in financial support to more than 3,500 students, so the budget for these scholarships is substantial.

Who can apply

• Level: You are applying for a Bachelor’s degree programme at IE University.
• Field of study: Open to all Bachelor’s degree programmes.
• Grades: You have an outstanding academic record. The highest honours are awarded for top marks, such as 9.5 out of 10 or the equivalent in your education system.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Financial need: Not required. This grant is based solely on your academic performance and not on your family’s income.

How to apply

You do not need to submit a separate application. Every applicant is automatically considered as part of the admissions process. The key factors in the award of the scholarship are therefore a strong academic profile and a successful outcome in the admissions process. Should you subsequently require further support, you can also apply for a means-tested IE scholarship before the start of your studies.

How realistic are your chances?

As no additional form needs to be submitted, your marks and academic performance are the sole criteria in the admissions process. The highest level of funding, which covers up to 100% of the tuition fees, is reserved for exceptional achievements in the field of 9.5 by 10, so competition here is really fierce. A solid but not outstanding profile is more likely to result in partial funding. As there is a substantial funding budget behind these grants, a clearly strong applicant has a genuine chance of receiving financial support.
