About this grant / loan
Aide financière ponctuelle at Université Paris Cité
You get a one-off emergency payment to get through a temporary money problem while studying at Université Paris Cité. This is not a monthly grant. It is a single payment worked out for your situation, and the university does not publish a fixed amount. It can help with health costs, rent or housing, transport, food, energy bills, internet or a computer, or a budget that no longer balances. The money comes from the CVEC, the student and campus life fee the university collects each year. You can also book a meeting with a social advisor for guidance.
Who can apply
- University: You are enrolled at Université Paris Cité.
- Nationality: Any nationality, French or foreign.
- Grant status: You can apply whether or not you already get a state (CROUS) scholarship.
- Field and level: Any subject and any study level.
- Financial need: You are facing a temporary money problem and can prove it with documents.
How to apply
Download the application file from the university student intranet. Fill it in and attach proof of your income and costs, then email it to the student life department. A commission then reviews your file. There is no deadline, so you can apply at any time during the year.
How realistic are your chances?
This aid is open only to enrolled Université Paris Cité students in genuine short-term hardship, so the eligible group is narrow. It is judged on need, not on grades or a polished application. If you can clearly document your situation, your prospects are reasonable. Because it is a single emergency payment, apply as soon as the difficulty arises.
