Benefit

You have received a one-off cash grant of up to about 2,900 EUR (up to £2,500) from Teesside University in Middlesbrough, England. This was a merit-based grant for first-year students who achieved good results in their school-leaving exams and have started their first degree. ‘Merit-based’ means that the grant was awarded on the basis of your grades and not on the basis of your financial need.

Eligibility

• University: You began your studies at Teesside University in the United Kingdom.
• Degree level: That was your first degree – a bachelor’s degree.
• Grades: You have achieved three ‘B’ grades at A-level or an equivalent qualification.
• Field of study: Anyone interested was able to apply.
• Nationality: All nationalities could apply.

This scholarship is no longer available. It was last mentioned in 2013 as part of the university’s support for first-year students and is no longer listed amongst Teesside University’s current scholarships.
