General Description
The London Opportunity Scholarship aims to support academically accomplished students who are attending state schools in or near London. The scholarship is open to students who have taken part in UCL's Summer Challenge Programme. 20 scholarships are awarded annually. The award selection criteria is based on financial need, family circumstances and educational background. The scholarship is £4,000 per year for the duration of degree course.Requirements
Applicants should have completed UCL's Year 12 Summer Challenge programme and submitted an independent research project. Candidates should have an offer for an undergraduate degree programme at UCL. Candidates will need to prove that they have a household income of under£42,620 per year. Candidates should be the first generation in their family to attend university.Similar scholarships
