About this grant / loan

Discounted canteen meals for Chieti-Pescara students

You can eat at the university’s canteens at a reduced price: 2.00 EUR per meal if you are eligible for the lowest rate, or 3.30 EUR per meal for everyone else. The lower rate depends on your family income and whether you meet certain requirements regarding your academic progress. Income is determined on the basis of the Italian ISEE certificate, a standardised means test. This service is operated by ADSU Chieti-Pescara, the regional authority for the right to higher education. You can use it for lunch and dinner in the canteens in Chieti (Via Pescara) and Pescara (Viale Marconi), as well as in some partner restaurants for specific student groups. Payment is made via a digital wallet (Borsellino Elettronico): top it up with at least 10 EUR and then show a QR code from the ADSUCh.EAT app at the till. The cost of the meal will be deducted automatically.

Who can apply

  • University: You are enrolled on a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme at the ‘G. d’Annunzio’ University in Chieti-Pescara.
  • Nationality: Open to all students, both from Italy and from abroad.
  • Field of study: Open to all subjects.
  • For the 2.00 EUR rate: You will need a valid ISEE income certificate showing that your income falls within the specified income limits, and you must meet the requirements regarding academic progress. If this certificate is missing or the income limit is exceeded, you will pay the rate of 3.30 EUR.

How to apply

You register or log in through the ADSU online desk (Sportello Online) using SPID or CIE, the Italian digital identity systems. Select the canteen category for the current academic year. Then generate your QR code in the ADSUCh.EAT app and load your electronic wallet.

How realistic are your chances?

This is not a competitive scholarship, but a standard benefit available to all students enrolled at the university; so if you are studying there, you are automatically entitled to it. Only the amount varies. The fee of 2.00 EUR applies to students who provide a valid ISEE and meet the entry requirements, whilst all others pay 3.30 EUR. Apply for your ISEE in good time if you wish to qualify for the lowest fee.
