EADA Business School - Elite Sport Scholarship Masters

What you get

You will receive a discount of 10% to 25% off the tuition fee for every full-time Master’s or MBA programme at EADA Business School in Barcelona. This is a reduction in fees, not a monthly payment. For the International MBA, with tuition fees of 44,000 EUR, you can save up to 11,000 EUR thanks to the 25% scholarship. For the Master’s in FinTech & Business Analytics, with tuition fees of 29,700 EUR, you’ll save up to approximately 7,400 EUR. You’ll also receive personalised career guidance to help you plan your transition from sport to a professional career. EADA awards this scholarship to elite athletes who are making this transition. As a scholarship holder, you may be asked to contribute to an academic or administrative project during the course of the year.

Who can apply

• Sports background: You are a high-performance athlete who is either still actively competing or nearing the end of your sporting career.
• Programme: You are applying for a full-time Master’s programme or an MBA at EADA in Barcelona, such as the International MBA, the Master’s in FinTech & Business Analytics or the Master’s in International Management.
• Admission first: You have successfully completed EADA’s standard admissions procedure for your chosen programme. This must have been completed before the scholarship can be awarded to you.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply. The degree programmes are offered to an international group of students.

How to apply

Please email your application form, a personal statement in the language of your degree programme and a letter of recommendation to EADA. There are monthly application deadlines, falling on the 20 of each month from January to June. Apply early, as the number of scholarships is limited and they may already have been awarded in later rounds. You will be notified of the result by email within two weeks of the application deadline.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is aimed exclusively at top-level athletes who are making the transition into the business world, so the pool of eligible candidates is small. It does not depend on outstanding academic grades or test results. If you can demonstrate genuine success in competitive sport and provide a clear reason for wishing to study at EADA, your chances are good. As places are limited and later monthly intakes may already be fully booked, it is important to apply in one of the earlier intakes.
