Fulbright Commission Belgium and Luxembourg - Grants for Graduate Studies

General Description

The Fulbright Grant for Graduate Studies are available for Belgian graduate students who wish to further their studies or conduct research at an American university or think tank. 15-25 grants are awarded annually. The grant provides funding ranging from $1,000 to $30,000 depending on the beneficiary’s financial needs and merit. Health and accident insurance are also provided.

Requirements

Candidates should be have Belgian citizenship. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree. Candidates should be proficient in English. Candidates should have an excellent academic track record. Candidates already in the US and who have been in the US for 5 years or more are not eligible. Candidates should secure admission to a university or institution of their choice before applying.
