Alumni Scholarship of Teesside University

You get a 1,000 GBP (about 1,150 EUR) cut on your tuition fees. It is paid once as a fee waiver on your postgraduate course. Teesside University in the United Kingdom offers it to its own former students who come back for a further degree. If you also win another Teesside University scholarship, you can hold both together.

Who can apply

• Your history with Teesside: You finished a bachelor's or master's degree at Teesside University and now start a postgraduate course here.
• Level: The award is for master's-level study (Level 7). PhD and DBA courses (Level 8) do not count.
• Fee status: You pay international tuition fees, meaning the higher rate set for students from outside the UK. EU students who pay this rate are included.
• Enrolment: You study full time, whether you fund yourself or have a sponsor.
• Where you study: You study on campus in Middlesbrough or Darlington. Teesside University Online, Teesside University London and courses run outside the UK do not count.
• How you applied: You applied directly, not through an agent, and you already hold an offer for a postgraduate place.

How to apply

There is no separate application. The university checks who qualifies automatically. If you are eligible, the waiver is written into your offer letter and shown on your student account.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is cut narrowly. You must already be a Teesside graduate returning for a further postgraduate course, pay international fees and study on campus. There is no contest and no grade bar in the sources. So if you meet these conditions, the waiver is simply applied to you rather than won against other applicants.
