About this scholarship
General Description
The Living Tradition World Music Scholarship was established by The Living Tradition music shop in 1997. This award is avaliable to University College Cork Music students. It is intended to assist the student in undertaking the study of an indigenous musical tradition in a country outside of Europe. The program that is proposed must be relevant to one of the programs in Ethnomusicology.
Requirements
Candidates must be registered University College Cork students. Candidates must be Music majors. The candidate must propose to undertake the study of an indigenous musical tradition outside of European countries. The proposed program must be relevant to one of the Ethnomusicology programs.
