About this scholarship
Esade Talent Scholarships
You will receive a grant of 60% to 100% of your tuition fees to cover the entire duration of your Bachelor’s degree at Esade in Barcelona, one of Spain’s largest private business and law schools. The exact amount depends on your financial circumstances and your grades. The scholarship covers all the modules in your degree programme and is renewed annually, providing support from your first year right through to graduation. The funding comes from the Esade Foundation as well as donations from alumni, companies and private individuals. If you require additional support with accommodation or living costs, Esade offers separate grants to cover the cost of student accommodation, as well as a living allowance of 450 EUR per month.
Who can apply
- Where you study: You have been admitted to a bachelor’s degree programme at Esade, such as the BBA, the ‘Law, Business and Artificial Intelligence’ programme, or one of the dual degree programmes.
- Grades: You have achieved an average mark of at least 8.5 out of 10 in the final two years of the Spanish Bachillerato or an equivalent qualification: 33 out of 42 in the International Baccalaureate, 16.2 out of 20 in the French Baccalauréat, or 85% (the highest mark) in other systems. If you sit the SAT, you will need at least 1300.
- Financial need: Your family’s gross income must not exceed 118,000 euros per year for a four-person household. Assets and savings are also taken into account.
- Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
How to apply
First, apply for admission to your chosen degree programme at Esade. You should then submit your scholarship application via the online form. A committee will review the applications. The deadlines run in parallel with the admission rounds, so please apply early in the admissions cycle.
How realistic are your chances?
ESADE supports the programme with around 5 million euros per year, and approximately 295 students receive a scholarship. According to the university, 46% of those applying for a Bachelor’s degree programme were awarded a scholarship. The chances of success are therefore far better than with many well-known scholarship programmes. If you clearly meet the 8.5 grade threshold and the income limit, and apply in an early application round, your chances are good.
