Beta Gamma Sigma scholarship at IE University

You will receive a one-off tuition fee discount of up to 10,000 EUR for a Master’s programme at IE University in Madrid, Spain. This represents a reduction of up to 15% on your tuition fees. The exact amount depends on the programme you choose and its fees. The discount applies for the entire duration of your Master’s programme. IE University offers this in partnership with Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), an international honour society for business students. IE University offers numerous Master’s programmes in business, including the Master’s in Finance, the Master’s in Management, the International MBA and the Global Online MBA.

Who can apply

• BGS membership: You are a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honour society. That is the most important requirement.
• Degree level: You are applying for a Master’s programme at IE University.
• Field of study: A master’s degree programme in business, for example in the fields of finance, management, marketing, law and international relations, or an MBA.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Financial need: In the case of means-tested benefits, the IE will also assess your income, so you may need to provide documentation regarding your financial situation.

How to apply

Submit your online application for your chosen Master’s programme, entering the BGS scholarship code 001361. You must then submit an application for financial support via the IE platform before the programme begins. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, so please apply well in advance. Funding is limited, and the IE usually makes a decision within one to three weeks of your admission.

How realistic are your chances?

The pool of applicants is limited, as you must already be a member of the BGS and membership is by invitation only. Far fewer people are eligible than for an open scholarship. If you are a member and qualify as a strong candidate for an IE Master’s programme, your chances are good. Apply early, as funding is limited and scholarships will be awarded as soon as places are filled.
